Immerse yourself in Yin to deepen your own practice and take the tools to teach this to your own students, community, and beyond.  

This training is certified with 50 Continuing Education hours via Yoga Alliance.

  • The History of Yin Yoga, 

  • Understanding Yin and Yang, 

  • An Overview of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 

  • The 5 Elements, 

  • The Meridian Lines, 

  • The Breath, 

  • Anatomy 

  • Fascia

  • Asana Labs 

  • Sequencing

  • Understanding the different traditions taught by Bernie Clarke, Paul Grilley and Fascia based practices

  • Teaching tools - holding space, setting up, ideas for workshops and classes

Pre-requisites: 

200 hour YTT or a regular yoga practice, the training is also open to other fitness professionals, as well as anyone interested in learning more about yin yoga.

Preparation requirements 

The list of lectures to watch prior to the zoom calls and in person element will be shared by mid December. The zoom calls will be recorded and shared with students.

Basic knowledge of the yoga poses (e.g. names of poses) 

Daily schedule example 

9am - 10:15 Asana Practice

10:30am - 12:30pm Lecture / Asana Lab

12:30pm Lunch 

1:30pm - 3:15pm Lecture / Asana Lab

3:30pm - 5pm Yin Practice 

There will be plenty of breaks throughout the day. The timings may be subject to small changes. These will be communicated in advance where possible.

About me 

Jessica Lee has been teaching, assisting, and contributing to the yoga community internationally since 2018. Jessica is an experienced registered Yoga Alliance teacher and YACEP instructor for Yin Yoga.  She has studied Ayurveda and Holistic Health Coaching which she intertwines with her yoga and offerings.   Since graduating from the Peaceful Warriors 200hr Teacher Training in January 2018, she has studied a further 600hr of Continued Yoga Education and taught Yin, Yoga Nidra, Hatha, Power, Prenatal, Postnatal, and Kids yoga. Jessica has taught over 2000hrs of yoga since completing her initial training.

My background in Yin yoga is following the lineage of Paul Grilley, and Bernie Clarke amongst other teachers.

Jessica is currently studying her 300hr Teacher Training with Radiantly Alive, Bali.

Questions 

  • Anyone! This training is open to yoga teachers & practitioners, expecting mothers, fitness professionals, and anyone who wishes to deepen their knowledge of yin yoga.

  • Yes, there will be both a written and practice teaching exam to complete for the certification.  

    Don't worry you will be well equipped to do both with ease. :)

  • Yes! As long as you successfully complete the exam elements. This consists of a practical teaching session and answering a written exam.

  • You will have the opportunity to join our Facebook group online of all current and past students for continued support & connection.

    Also, I am available via email to help support with any questions when you start to teach Yin.

  • Yes, this training is certified with 50 hours of Continued Education Hours via Yoga Alliance.

  • Yes, there is an option to spread the payments out. All balances need to be paid 4 weeks prior to the training commencing.
