It has been a while but I've been working away on something special

It’s been a while. I think I am a bit late in wishing you a happy new year. I hope the start of 2023 is going well and January has been the foundation for a really wonderful year ahead.

I have disappeared into the vortex of parenthood this last while with a very fearless, active and adventurous toddler.  There is never a dull moment with new words being learnt, self discovery, to the enthusiasm of wanting to do everything for himself and where possible by himself. This has caused a few disasters with some household appliances plus accidents. RIP kettle that exploded, the freezer door, a great lamp from John Lewis, the charger for the night lamp and I am sure the list will continue through the year.  I’m hoping to make less emergency trips to the local hospital this year. 🤞🏼

I knew parenting would take up time and have these amazing highs and lows but no one quite prepared me for this wild ride.  It’s meant I’ve been quiet in sharing my news and antics in life.

In the midst of managing a toddler I have been working away on a project of mine that has had so many twists and turns, near breakdowns from failed recording, no sound, crashed computer and thankfully breakthroughs where it’s just fallen into place. I have created a 50hr Yin Yoga Online Teacher Training and Immersion. It is certified with Yoga Alliance as I am a Yoga Alliance Continued Education Provider.

I currently have 8 Beta testers working their way through the training to give me some feedback to make final tweaks to it.  It has been a journey getting to this point and getting it ready to share fully.

Even today I had tech issues with the mic not working, then the camera kept unexpectedly stopping for no reason and to top it off the kind yogi who was demoing the yin sequence for me properly fell asleep in one of the poses!! 😂 Great advertisement that she was very relaxed and fully in the practice! But not so great for a recording especially when she made one of those sleep sounds which after a moment made us both burst out laughing.  She even said to me after repeatedly I never fall asleep on my back… I have no idea how this has happened!

I’ve learnt in making the training to roll with whatever happens and keep getting a little bit done at a time. Today was a prime example of this.

There will be other offerings coming out soon as I am busy working away in the studio this month.

In the meantime, check out my yoga nidras on Insight Timer.
